Title: Legal Assistant

Responsibilities

Assist Attorney with cases involving Immigration, Family Law and Personal Injury. Use knowledge of international human rights, political psychology and war, and human sexuality to prepare asylum applications. Use knowledge of legal research for civil and commercial litigation to conduct legal research for family and personal injury cases. Use knowledge of reviewing sales and purchase agreements, contract negotiation, and drafting agreements to assist the attorney in drafting contracts. Use knowledge of legal team support to provide administrative support to the attorney.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with minor in Human Rights, or related
  field;
• Knowledge of international human rights, political psychology and war, and human
  sexuality;
• Knowledge of legal research for civil and commercial litigation;
• Knowledge of reviewing sales and purchase agreements, contract negotiation, and
  drafting agreements; and
• Knowledge of legal team support.
